Year 10 begin their second project entitled ‘Natural Forms’.  Using mind maps and moodboards to record initial ideas, students start to form the beginning of their Artistic journey. Using ideas generated, students showcase drawing skills using tonal pencil and biro.

Year 11 are continuing the development of component 1. Students have spent time carefully refining their Artistic journey so far, ensuring each portfolio page is completed to an exceptional standard. Students revisit and refine all skills showcased so far and Natural Forms continues to be the focus for all work presented in portfolios. All artistic decisions link closely to the theme and are inspired by a range of Artists researched. A wide selection of materials such as Acrylic paint, Watercolour, Tonal pencil, Colouring pencil, Charcoal, and Biro are used to demonstrate Artistic skills as students continue to develop and refine their portfolios.
