Through a careers programme that is fully aligned with the Gatsby Benchmarks, we aim to broaden horizons, challenge stereotypes and empower students to recognise their strengths, talents and potential. We are committed to ensuring that every learner receives personalised, high-quality careers education, information, advice and guidance that raises aspirations and helps them make informed choices about education, employment and training.

By working collaboratively with employers, colleges, training providers, families and external agencies, we provide meaningful encounters and experiences that connect learning to future opportunities. We recognise that our students may require additional support to overcome barriers and build confidence, and therefore place inclusion, accessibility and individual achievement at the heart of our careers strategy.

Through tailored guidance, workplace experiences and exposure to a wide range of pathways, we strive to equip every young person with the skills, knowledge and self-belief needed to become successful, independent and active members of society. Our ultimate goal is that every learner leaves our provision with a clear sense of purpose, a positive destination and the confidence to realise their ambitions.

The CEIAG Programme will be reviewed on an annual basis by the careers leader and adapted where necessary. This will consider any feedback from staff, students or external providers linked to the previous year’s activities.
