As part of the school’s careers programme, we raise the awareness of post 16 pathways available to students at The Stephen Longfellow Academy.
It is essential that our KS4 Students encounter a wide range of Post 16 Providers, so can obtain the correct information to make informed choices about their futures.
On Monday 19th of October, Elliott Hudson College (An outstanding Oftsed rated provider) delivered an assembly to KS4 Students. Elliott Hudson staff discussed their amazing post 16 offer with students (All at social distancing and following our Covid 19 procedures).
Following on from this Assembly, interested students will access further support from Mr Gill (Careers Officer) to support them with their applications. Further post 16 assemblies will be held with a variety of Further Education and Apprenticeship providers across the year.
