We are continuing the work on Romeo and Juliet. Some of us who will be taking English Literature GCSE are looking more deeply into some of the speeches, and studying Shakespeare’s style.
Other students are doing English Language type tasks on the play. We are writing letters, stories, speeches and even a Tourist Guide to Verona! All of these things will help us in GCSE English Language.
Some students have been using a Puppet Theatre and have been showing how well they know they play, by acting out scenes and using quotes from the text.
