In half term 5 the children in Year 10 have started to work on their first assignments, which will contribute 15% towards their final BTEC grade in year 11. They have demonstrated their ability to transfer teaching and learning into practice using the information to inform their assignments. They have demonstrated excellent resilience and a dogged determination to succeed. I am really proud of their hard work.
The year 11 have completed and received excellent grades for their first component, with all of them achieving level 2 or higher and have completed their final examination in Health and Social Care, the learners have worked really hard on their revision and their results will show that “effort in = results out”. The last steps are to ensure they achieve on Component 2 and leave the academy with the results they deserve.
