In half term 4 the students in Year 10 have started to work on their first assignments, which will contribute 15% towards their final BTEC grade in year 11. They have demonstrated their ability to transfer teaching and learning into practice using the information gained to inform their assignments. They have demonstrated excellent resilience and a dogged determination to succeed. I am really proud of their hard work.
The year 11 students are putting the final touches to their assignments, continuing towards the completion of their BTEC in the run-up to exam season. Many of the students have been demonstrating their Care Values in practice by spending time in our primary phase, supporting the younger children, these are invaluable work skills that they can take with them into college, apprenticeships or the world of work. I am really impressed with how far this group and has come and how much work they are putting in to ensure success.
