Year 10
Personal Project – Surroundings/Around Me
Students will begin developing their own portfolio of work based on a chosen theme/starting point. Throughout this project student will cover all four of the assessment objectives: AO1 – research, AO2 – experimentation, AO3 – recording including drawing and photography and AO4 – final piece
Year 11
Students continue to develop their portfolios during Y11 and bring Unit 1 to a close at Christmas.
At the start of Spring term, student who have developed a strong portfolio, will begin to work on their final project. Students will get to choose a project from the Externally Set Assignments produced by the examination board.
After 10-12 weeks developing their ideas, students will get 10hours to complete a final realisation (AO4) for Unit 2.
