KS3
This half term KS3 students have continued to develop their numeracy skills, particularly within rounding and arithmetic. They have also engaged in the whole-school Rowing Week initiative in which students explored some of the mathematics associated with rowing.
Sabrine (Year 8) – As part of our Rowing Week initiative, Sabrine was able to complete a number of exercises designed to improve her average calculation skills. Sabrine is working very hard to plug any gaps from her primary studies.
Lucas (Year 8) – Lucas has improved on his rounding knowledge by completing a number of exercises focused on rounding to the nearest integer. Lucas’s Maths work is progressively improving in quality and quantity this half term.
A.J (Year 7) has been able to develop his addition skills by completing a number of decimal calculations. A.J has used video resources to help access certain topics. A.J has benefitted greatly from using visual aids in his learning.
