Year 7
Since joining us year 7 have completed some crucial work on different types of numbers, including negative numbers, prime numbers and factors/multiples. These skills will support them through the rest of the year 7 curriculum and beyond.
Year 8
Year 8 have continued to work really hard in maths this half term, they have completed some excellent work on data and statistics as well as developing their understanding of algebra with expressions and functions.
Within the data unit, we see them achieving great things on calculating averages, constructing some beautifully accurate pie charts and showing their interpretation skills with bar charts.
As part of the algebra unit they have completed some fantastic work on substitution and using function machines.
