Year 8
Year 8 have progressed this half term on to representing and displaying data. In particular, they have learned how to accurately draw Bar Charts and Pie Charts. They also have been developing their Problem Solving skills by completing structured problem tasks.
Year 9
Following their work on Number topics in Half Term 1, Year 9 have progressed on to Unit 2, focusing on Algebraic Expressions. Some students have even progressed onto studying Expanding and Factorising Quadratic Expressions, a topic that is found on both the Foundation and Higher specification.
Following this unit, students have then progressed on Unit 3 Tables, Charts and Graphs. This included creating Frequency Tables, Stem and Leaf diagrams and Dual Bar Charts.
