Parent feedback following parent forum:
Student A’s mum shared that with the additional clubs etc, A is now accessing as much time as he did at mainstream. A’s mum is grateful of the opportunities that we give A and stated that he was a different boy because of TSLA who have “saved her son”.
On our “Health Matters” page, student B’s mum said “I would encourage people that I know to use this as a means of educating on difficult/important issues”.
When discussing the curriculum offer, A’s mum was very positive regarding A’s curriculum and said she was confident that whatever A chose, she could trust staff to do the best by her son. A shared that A is now talking about school more and this is because he trusts us and understands that she supports school 100%. Mum stated that “parents need to work with school not against them and we need to work together to build trust”. “Parents may have a bad view of education but A is now completely different to what he was a year ago”.
