We are pleased to continue offering access to Class Charts, the platform we use to monitor both positive and negative interactions involving your child, both in and out of the classroom. Parents and carers are able to view all comments and achievements awarded to their child throughout the school day by using the Class Charts app or website.

To gain access to Class Charts, you will require an individual code for your child, which their form tutor will be able to provide.

Previously, you may have only seen this information during parent consultation evenings or in meetings with staff. However, for over two years now, parents and carers have had direct access to this data, helping to strengthen your understanding of your child’s progress and better inform your weekly form tutor calls.

Our aim is to strengthen the way we work together with parents, carers and the academy, and to support positive behaviour both in and out of school. Having regular insight into your child’s conduct and achievements allows for more productive conversations and better support.

We’ve also enabled a daily positive point to be awarded for reading at home, recognising the importance of regular reading in a student’s development. Once a student accumulates the required number of positives for reading at home, they will receive a reward in school.

Through the app, you can also check if your child has achieved Privilege Club status each week. Students who reach the target number of entries by the end of each half-term will be invited on a rewards trip, with notifications sent directly through the app.

We also use Class Charts to send key announcements and updates, such as reminders about letters requiring permission for trips or events. This enhances communication between home and school.

Additionally, commissioning academies continue to have the same level of access as parents and carers. This shared visibility helps support collaborative working and facilitates discussions around reintegration when needed.
