Year 9

In HT2 Year 9 students continued their BTEC sport studies. Students have been working through component 1, students have explored the different types and provision of sport and physical activity available for different types of participants, barriers to participation and ways to overcome these barriers to increase participation in sport and physical activity. They will also research equipment and technological advances in a chosen sport or physical activity and how to prepare our bodies for participation in sport and physical activity

Lola, Usher and Rohan (Year 9)

Here students used the game JENGA to improve their knowledge around component 1. Once students removed a brick this had a number which correlated to an exam question. Students found this a really fun and engaging way to learn!
