Year 9 and 10 NCFE students this term have been studying the respiratory system, looking at how the body takes in oxygen and the journey it takes through the body. More recently the students have been looking at the cardiovascular system, looking at blood vessels and blood itself. The students have measured their own heart rate and explored the impact of exercise on heart rate and blood pressure.
Following an exceptional set of exam results, year 11 NCFE students are working hard to complete coursework to as high a level as possible. Focussed sessions are looking at how to accurately describe and analyse as a means to show a deeper level of knowledge.
