School Meal Letter

Dear Parents and Carers,

From Monday 6th November all pupils on the morning timetable will receive the option of hot school meals. Food will include baked potatoes, paninis, soup, pasta, fruit, drinks etc.

Parents of pupils who are entitled to receive free school meals do not need to take any further action but those parents of pupils who are required to pay for meals must make sure of the following:

  • Should your child wish to have a school meal, then you must make sure that they come to school with the necessary money. Meals will cost £2.50 per day / £12.50 per week. This will entitle your child to a choice of main meal, dessert and drink. Please give the money to your child to bring in and if possible, the money for the week.
  • For those wishing to pay by cheque, could you please make payment for a minimum of 1 week (£12.50) to ‘The Stephen Longfellow Academy’ and write your child’s name on the reverse.

Should you have any questions regarding the school meals or if your child has any special dietary requirements, please do not hesitate to contact me,

Yours sincerely.

Jeremy Needham
Director of Operations
