Students will be learning about the evolution of the Earth and the atmosphere. This topic will give students an opportunity to marvel at the amazing processes that have led to the current conditions we have on Earth. Students will be engaged in a variety of activities from watching inspirational videos demonstrating the vastness of space and time to practical activities demonstrating the way that human choices are impacting on the environment. This topic will provide opportunities to consider their place in the universe and the impact that they will have as individuals and as part of a rapidly changing society.
Year 8 have been studying the causes of pollution and have researched and produced some excellent posters about this.
