Year 7
Year 7 have had an interesting start to the forces topic which has involved doing some investigations. The image below shows the group investigating the forces required to pull a certain mass across different surfaces. The group also completed their first assessment in which they were successful. They showed resilience and good stamina in their exam which has helped all students to achieve well!
Year 8
Students in Year 8 have been looking at the earth and the planets within our solar system, they have even gone as far as to create their own model planet. Students have been looking at our atmosphere, the formation of our atmosphere and how it differs to other planets.
