“Life at my old school was not ideal I was always getting in to trouble, getting excluded and in isolation a lot. The Stephen Longfellow Academy helped me plan my future by giving me the chance to speak with Raj, careers adviser in which he prepared me for interviews, took me to visit colleges and helped me with my college applications. Even when I didn’t get the grades needed Raj still helped me to get into Aspire2work. I am still currently attending Aspire2work doing my health and social care extended diploma and resitting my maths and my english.After finishing my course at Aspire2work I am wanting to move on to go to Notre Dame to do my level 3 health and social care course, I then plan on going to university to study this further.
In my opinion the Stephen Longfellow Academy helped me as I always had the right amount of support I needed from Raj and all of my teachers. If I didn’t attend Stephen Longfellow I think I would’ve come out of school without any G.C.S.E’S.” Shannon Spruce
