Parental Feedback – Year 11 Leaver J
Good morning Mr Foster and Mr Little
I would like to say a massive thank you to you and all your staff for all the support that you have given J over the past 18 months, he has become that young man that we knew was always there. This is due to the care and respect that you have shown to him, recognising that he will make mistakes but giving that space and time to make the right choices; this has been instrumental in J being able to access the education that he deserves as a young person that at the moment main stream settings don’t want to offer. All the staff have shown that they have J’s best interest at heart and this is why he has made the progress that he has. The extra mile that staff have gone has been really appreciated. For example Mr Foster watching him play rugby for Oulton; Mr Gill spending hours supporting him in that next stage of his life journey; the positivity shown by all staff at parents evening saying that they are ‘proud of J’ and even down to the office staff helpfulness whenever you phone up.
Once again we thank you and value all the support you have given J and I’m sure that as he gets older and reflects on his time at Stephen Longfellow it will be to say that they made a difference to me
