West 14 another alternative provision school in Leeds brought 6 of their best table tennis players from year 10 and 11 TSLA for a round robin tournament.
Through the 6 games West 14 came out victorious overall with a score of 24 to our 14. The tournament was played with smiles on faces and fantastic sportsmanship.
JT a Y11 student at TSLA won all 6 of his matches showing great skill and humbleness in victory. CC and TH two Y8 students stepped in at the last minute to represent the school and did a fantastic job, they improved dramatically throughout the tournament and showed great resilience when playing stronger opposition. We also had 3 Y10 students JB, KW and AH who all played some brilliant table tennis. We are extremely proud of the way our students performed, their behaviour was exceptional. A huge thank you goes to Mr Binnian for organising the event and to West 14, their students were equally brilliant, who we will be staying in touch with for future fixtures.
